Dogwood Track Classic

Thanks to the volunteer efforts of several CTC members the four area high schools were once again able to pull off a well-organized all-day meet for 1,500 athletes from 85 different schools from around the state.  This huge meet which  was held at UVA’s Lannigan Field, was organized by Albemarle, Charlottesville, Monticello and Western Albemarle and was heavily supported by the excellent volunteer efforts of several veteran CTC stalwarts.  Carol Ward, John Ratcliffe, Carol Finch, Bob Wilder, Dave Lasch, Dan Wiggins, Ian Rogol, Rollin Stanton, Amy Hurt, Carin Ward, Audrey Lorenzoni, Jeff Stafford, Cynthia Lorenzoni, Lance Weisend, Adrian Lorenzoni, Steve Deaton & Lindy Bain were some of the CTC folks who gave up most of their Saturday to help us with this special cause.  The meet’s proceeds were passed along to the track & field programs of the four host high schools.  Thanks!
